Skin To Skin is a new musical about an abandoned woman – Goria, in DiYU地狱(Buddhism Hell), build her own house, where she recruited new coming girls, all of them coming together to win a ball so they can revive to earth, so they shall finish the wills (just like CATS but totally not like CATS)
Goria, Slaylar, Nightmaria… all of the sassy girls are based on ghost characters from a Chinese novel collection – Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio (聊斋志异). They are originally Chinese, but now they are not really Chinese, so you see this show is pretty Chinese while it’s really not so Chinese.
